+86 131 2053 3622A free-radical curable liquid designed for inkjet printing of food packaging materials is presented. This liquid either does not contain an initiator or contains one or more initiators selected from non-polymeric bifunctional or multifunctional initiators, oligomeric initiators, polymeric initiators, and polymerizable initiators. The polymerizable composition of the liquid described herein primarily consists of the following components:
a) One or more polymerizable compounds A (25-100 wt%) that possess at least one acrylate group (G1) and at least one second-bond unsaturated polymerizable functional group (G2), where G2 is selected from vinyl ether groups, allyl ether groups, and allyl ester groups;
b) One or more polymerizable compounds B (0-55 wt%) selected from monofunctional acrylates and bifunctional acrylates;
c) One or more polymerizable compounds C (0-55 wt%) selected from trifunctional acrylates, tetrafunctional acrylates, pentafunctional acrylates, and hexafunctional acrylates, provided that if the weight percentage of compound B exceeds 24 wt%, then the weight percentage of compound C must exceed 1 wt%.
All weight percentages of components A, B, and C are based on the total weight of the polymerizable composition. Additionally, the following conditions must be satisfied: If the free-radical curable liquid does not contain an initiator, then at least one polymerizable compound B or C must exist in the polymerizable composition.
